So happy to see that rare 1980 Promontory Rider song with Bob with Jerry on backup vocals in a Feb JGN show in Rhode Island

Ha! The consummate wordsmith says the word " hella"! Check it out in box of rain from 4-5-03. Being from the Bay Area this brings me extra joy.

RIP Robert Hunter you have brought myself and countless others a thousand lifetimes of joy as well as a connection to this and so many other realms.

"Well, shit" - that's about all I've got, too.

I'm very sad.

Hi, everybody.

This is the first sighting of a female here in 5 years. Tell has scared them all off.

RIP Hunter. "Listen to the river sing sweet songs to rock my soul"

LOL. Is it that bad? I've considered checking in before, but figured politics had probably made this place even more awful in some regards, and chickened out. Hope everyone is well, I've missed you all (well, most of you).

There has been no politics discussed here since the last election. Juvenile humor- yes, in abundance, but all in good fun. Please join in the discussions more often!

Hi! Yeah, that was slick of me, wasn't it? It took me 45 minutes to even find this place, let alone figure out how to post. I'm old. Everything changes and I don't like it ...

It is good to see an old regular, Ring--and I couldn't agree more...ie, things changing and I don't like it (either). We did almost implode in November of 2016...hmm, can't recall why. Yuk yuk. But I think we all decided to just STFU and talk about the DEAD instead (get it? the bball ref and POTUS? har, har...ahem...uh--oh, might get cranky again; deep breath...).

Of course, we don't really do much of anything except make lame jokes, and socialize...I would guess it's just too darn boring to keep many folks interested, and proportionally, having lost 50-75% of the regulars of the good ol days (I'd say that's 2005-2015 or so?), there were so few gals, it was simply a numbers game that we lost the few we had...? Dunno--billyD could be right about my bad manners, eh?

Glad you're well.
